As we get further into the fall term and the scariness of midterms begins to creep in, there is one thing students know they can look forward to at the end of the month… Halloween! Get ready for a thrilling month filled with costumes, ghost stories, and unforgettable memories!

While students gear up for one of the most anticipated events of the year, we can see how ex-scream-ly excited everyone is! Whether you are a fan of frights, or you enjoy more lighthearted Halloween fun – WUSA has an event for you!

If you are looking for some un-boo-lievable beats – you can check out the UW DJ club! This Halloween, the UW DJ club is transforming the SLC Student Lounge into a spook-tacular club – The gRAVEyard.  Here, you can listen to club classics, house music, and techno beats alongside the talented ½ûÂþÌìÌà DJs. For more information, make sure to follow on Instagram – this is an event you will not want to miss!

For an immersive and thrilling Halloween experience, you can take a trip with WUSA to Canada’s Wonderland’s Halloween Haunt. WUSA will be taking a trip to the exhilarating theme park-turned-scream park – with rides, creepy characters, and many chills and thrills for all the adrenaline seekers at ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ.

For those who are passionate about more ghoulish adventures, you can head to The in Uptown ½ûÂþÌìÌà to get a good fright. The Princess Cinema will be playing scary movies such as A Nightmare on Elm Street, Carrie, The Shining, and many more scary classics! And since it’s the Cinema, you can have both a trick and a treat!

WUSA Thrift will be hosting a Halloween sidewalk sale dedicated to both creepy and cute costumes, and accessories to complete your Halloween outfit! Not only can you be the best dressed this October, but you can also help the planet by shopping secondhand!

Additionally, WUSA Mates will be hosting a creepy game night on October 30th. This game night will be full of games, movies, snacks, and a mystery!

While you are having some Halloween fun, remember to be cognizant of your surroundings, stay in groups, and ensure that you are looking out for those around you. With most Halloween activities happening at night, and feeling more unsafe after dark, it is important that you celebrate Halloween responsibly.
