International students at the University of ½ûÂþÌìÌà face challenges in accessing an affordable and meaningful university experience and quality education due to unpredictable and rising tuition fees, financial strain, and limited support services.

WUSA advocates for reforms to ensure that international students can access affordable and predictable tuition, equitable support services, and stable financial resources during their studies.
- Operational Funding Reform: Advocacy for the provincial government to take primary responsibility for university operational funding, reducing the burden on international students.
- Tuition Funding Framework: Push for the reworking of the Ontario tuition funding framework to account for international students.
- Diversification of Revenue: Encourage post-secondary institutions to diversify funding sources, ensuring that no more than one-third of the operating budget comes from international student tuition.
- Sustainable Growth: Advocate for policies that support sustainable growth in international student admissions, complemented by adequate support services and accommodation.
